“The Voice Memo Demo Club”I have 635 voice memos on my phone at the moment. They’re all just ideas, 99% musical ideas, but ideas nonetheless. It was only 15 to 20 years ago that spur of the moment ideas were written down on the closet piece of paper material, usually a napkin. And that was the case for a long time. By no means has that disappeared, but we’ve always got a napkin in our pocket, and it’s not limited by how small it is, whether you have a pen or not, or the ply of the napkin ripping with every letter you try to jot down.
